The ALTA Wireless Duct Temperature Sensor uses an NTC type thermistor with UL listed plenum cable to accurately measure temperatures in duct work, while maintaining a sealed environment. Can be easily installed and mounted for long term use.
The general purpose AA model should only be operated in dry, low humidity environments. Should you need a temperature sensor that operates at extreme temperatures and can withstand getting wet or condensed on, please consider the IP65 NEMA 4X model.
