The HX92B Series transmitters provide remote and on-site monitoring of relative humidity. It is available with either voltage or 2-wire current output. The transmitter output is linearized and temperature compensated. Current output models enable placing of the transmitter at a remote location virtually any distance away from the measuring device. All models use an accurate digital sensor. A stainless steel mesh type filter, easily removable for cleaning, protects the sensor. Mounting screws are easily accessible inside the rugged, polycarbonate enclosure which protects the electronics to NEMA 13 (IP54) specifications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not so great/Excellent! I was not happy with the service department. I called and asked what would be a good replacement for the HX92A, which has been discontinued, and was told that I should order the HX93BDC.. But when I looked it up, it was not at all what I needed, so I went through the Omega catalog and found the HX92B, which is exactly what I needed. I am very happy with the HX92B, as there is no longer any need to check the calibration (not even possible, in fact), and also due to the fact that this model has a replaceable sensor, which is certainly the most likely part to ever fail. It worked perfectly. Thank you!

Is this 4-20mA loop powered. Do I need 4 wires? 2 for analog and 2 for dc power or just 2 for analog that powers the unit also?

Is there any Hysteresis or delay in the switching once humidity is sampled?

The Humidity is measured continuously and instantly outputs an Analog DC Voltage or Current which is relative to the reading.
