The industrial style assemblies offer a variety of protection heads to meet the environmental and size requirements of most applications. Available in thermocouples J, K, T or E calibrations, with either 304SS or Inconel sheathing (321SS provided on request). Standard lengths are 12" including 1/2" for the pipe thread, with other lengths quickly available. Both the thread on the probe and the extension wire opening are 1/2" NPT. The NB2 and NB4 include a compression fitting nut and rubber ferrule for 1/8" to 1/4" O.D. wires or tubing. The internal terminal block is standard on all models. Consult Technical Quotation Dept. for price and delivery on PFA-coated assemblies or a wide variety of non-metallic and other specialized heads.

Is there a manual I can download?

Asked by: JohnW
Thank you for your inquiry JohnW. We don't have a manual for this thermocouple. We only have the data sheet. Here is the link to the data sheet: https://assets.omega.com/pdf/test-and-measurement-equipment/temperature/sensors/thermocouple-probes/NB1-ICIN_INDUST_TC.pdf

CAN YOU USE REGULAR 1PR 16 FROM RTD TO CONTROLL PANEL

Asked by: JIMBO76
Thank you for your inquiry JIMBO76. I’m not clear on what you are asking. This is a thermocouple and it seems like you are asking about an RTD. If you are asking about the compatibility of an RTD or a thermocouple with a controller, it would depend on the individual controller. If this didn’t answer your question or if you have any further questions please call us at 1-888-826-6342

Would this be a 4-20 ma signal?

Asked by: BobbyG
Thank you for your inquiry BobbyG. The NB2-ICSS-14U-12's output is in mV. You can get an output in mA if you connect this probe to a transmitter like the TX93-K2 whose output is in mA.

What is the input voltage requirement for the thermocouple?

Asked by: SB16
Thank you for your inquiry SB16. There is not fixed voltage value for thermocouples because the voltage changes as the temperature increases or decreases. The term "input voltage" does not apply to a thermocouple as it is a self-powered device.
