The PHH-103B is a portable, microprocessor-based temperature meter. Its rugged, splashproof housing makes it ideal for field applications. On its large, 2-line LCD, the PHH-103B can display pH/mV and temperature readings simultaneously. Up to 5 buffer values can be stored in memory, allowing for fast, accurate calibration. Calibration (1-point, 2-point, etc.) is user adjustable. The display will indicate the percentage of slope (“PTS”) to show the status of the electrode after slope calibration. The PHH-103B also features a low-battery indicator and will automatically shut off after 10 minutes of non-use.

Perfect for Monitoring Kombucha Fermentation
This is a great little instrument for the price. I use it to measure pH and Temperature of Kombucha in a fermentation vessel.
I used to take the vessel, remove the cloth cover (the Kombucha must breathe), and measure pH and Temperature manually each day throughout the fermentation process. This required me to disturb the SCOBY quite often, which is best not to do because it raises the risk of contamination during the ferment.
With the PHH-103B, I can just place the temperature and pH probe in the vessel, strap on the cloth cover around the wires, and read the pH and Temperature “remotely” during fermentation, without opening the vessel and disturbing the SCOBY. It was the perfect solution.

Does this unit come with a pH/Temperature probe?
Thank you for your inquiry. The PHH-103B Comes complete with hard carrying case, rubber boot, pH electrode, temperature probe, suction cup mounting hook, small suction cup electrode holder, 4 pH and 7 pH buffer solutions, 9V battery and operator’s manual.
