The OMEGA PX273 is an all stainless steel wet/wet differential pressure transmitter, incorporating dual diffused piezoresistive sensing elements with stainless steel media isolation. The unit is compatible with all media encountered in industrial applications, including freon, ammonia, treated water, and steam. The PX273 is ideal for monitoring and controlling pump differential pressure, CW/HW system differential pressure, chiller/boiler differential pressure drop, and many other industrial applications.

I am using the PX273 transducer with the DP41-E meter. Do I need a separate power supply? Pg. 31 meter manual, fig.7-1 Current Input Without Sensor Excitation or fig. 7-2 Current Input With Sensor Excitation, which do I use?

Asked by: WaltN
Thank you for your inquiry, the DP41 can provide the 24 volts to power the sensor. You would use figure 7-2 for the current input with sensor excitation.

Does the digital read-out come with the differential pressure transmitter?

Asked by: Tech John
No. The display is sold as a separate item. Pictured display is the DP41-E High Performance Digital Display. There are several different models of displays that will function with this sensor. An alternative economical display that would also work well with this sensor is the DP8PT.
