Description

This flat "disc" encapsulated 100 ohm Class A DIN platinum RTD sensor is ideal for surface temperature measurements such as heat loss or compressor efficiency applications. The sensing end can be cemented into place for permanent mounting or can be adheredusing a single-side tape.

When combined with Omega's extension cables, transmitters, controllers, dataloggers, thermometers or temperature displays, these sensors become the heart of a complete temperature control and monitoring system.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sensors They are great sensors. They act as you would expect a pt100 to act, they're unobtrusive, and so far have been reliable. I use wide zipties to hold them in position while the epoxy cures over the day. However I have no need for the connectors. A connector like that is asking for a failed connection in the environments I work in. I would prefer no connector or have an M12 connector directly attached to the puck. The insulation could also be thicker but that seems standard for many of these sensors with wires from Omega.

What is the size of the sensor disk?

Asked by: bmack92
Thank you for connecting with Omega! The sensor disc is: 11 mm (7⁄16") diameter, 3 mm (1⁄8") thick sensor for surface mounting and can be cemented into place for permanent mounting or fixed using adhesive tape. Let us know if you need any further assistance.
