Can this heat tape overlap itself without burning out?

Asked by: jrp21c
Hi JRP21C The tape will regulate down when encountering hot spots. So it is more resistant to burn out than constant watt style. Best to avoid overlaps by use of splice and t boxes at branches. Best regards OMEGA
