Is there a thermocouple port with an inlet for the ground wire? If not what would be the use case for the ground wire in the thermocouple wire? What does it typically connect into?

Thank you for your inquiry Temperature Reader. In the twisted/shielded extension wire, the copper drain wire is used to connect to earth-ground to shield the probe from electrical noise.

Hi, The old part number had RoHS and this do not. Is this part RoHS compliant? The website has a generic RoHS certificate but I'm not sure if it actually applies to TT-K-24-TWSH-25. Can you please confirm?
