Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product, reliable consistency The small gauge wire is a bit difficult to work with, but makes for a nice clean thermocouple junction. The sensors created with this wire - 6 total - had consistent temperature readings among themselves (+/- 0.3C).

Will the use of thermocouple wire over a distance of thirty feet from contact point to data acquisition board give me the correct temperature values?

Yes. In most cases, using a 20 AWG wire size allows you to travel up to 300 feet without any signal loss.
