Protection Heads and Tubes

Protection Tubes outside diameters range from 1/16" - 1/2". Can also be secured into pipes using OMEGALOK® compression fittings (Sold Separately).

Ceramic Protection Tubes are made from MEGATITE™ 450 and MEGATITE™ 300 which protect the sensor at temperatures as high as 1950°C (3540°F). Optional fittings are available.

OMEGATITE 650® Protection Tubes is an alloy of silicon nitride and aluminum oxide and is made to with stand high temperatures up to 1250°C, thermal shock & corrosion .

Self-gripping spring and 1/2" NPT threaded fitting can be added to any 1/4" diameter probe to convert it for thermowell use. Helps achieve optimal thermal contact.

Metal Protection Tubes are use to further protect the sensor within the probe assemblies in mild to extreme environments depending on material type.
